This is THE green toothbrush to use!
From Tokyo, Japan, Fine Revolutions Products for Peaceful Life has recently introduced the Eco 41, a biodegradable bamboo toothbrush!
Its handle is made from a combination of bamboo fibers (grown in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan) and resin or biodegradable plastic (PLA) or Polylactic acid (polylactide). PLA is a thermoplastic, aliphatic polyester derived from renewable resources, such as corn starch and sugarcane and is completely biodegradable!
The bristles are made of soft, natural, biodegradable pig or boar's hair to clean your teeth naturally!
Included: One biodegradable bamboo and boar's hair bristle toothbrush. It will last for approximately two years.
Instructions for use: Since it is designed to breakdown in the compost or landfill, it must be used within two years of the product "use-by" date (Please see date on handle-2010) or it will start to breakdown. It should also be stored in a cool dry place and not left in direct sunlight. Made in Japan. Registered with the FDA.
At the end of the toothbrush's life, put it to rest in the compost heap and let nature take it's course in breaking it down!
Make the switch from plastic to biodegradable bamboo...what are you waiting for?
